I am deeply concerned about the lack of consistent, qualified IEP support for my child, which has directly impacted her academic progress for over six months. The administrative staff needs to prioritize staffing dedicated strategy teachers rather than relying on substitutes. Furthermore, I expect full professional courtesy and focused engagement from leadership during critical meetings regarding my child's education plan.

This is one issue I have with the school. My child is on an IEP and the school has a hard time understanding that. My child did not have a support teacher or strategy teacher for over 6 months. So, my child did not get the support she needed.
What improvements, if any, would you suggest to make the school experience better for students and parents?
Hire the support teachers when they are needed, stop hiring substitutes.
Can you share an example of how the school has positively and/or negatively impacted your child’s academic or personal growth?
My child loved some of her teachers, but struggled a lot with some subjects, math is one subject she did not like but loved the teacher, but I do not blame the math the teacher because he was not the support teacher and he tried his best. Also, during meetings, please do not have your phone out when we are talking about my child's education, Dr. Villagomez, if you do not think my child's education is important enough for you please get someone else to be in the meeting.
